When putting on your Nineteen wetsuit turn the upper body inside out so you can step into the suit. Pull the suit on
using the inside, fabric-side, of the suit to avoid damaging the outside smooth neoprene with your fingernails.
The seam on leg of the suit should run over top of your knee. Be sure you move the neoprene in the legs up towards
your crotch. Pull the neoprene in the arms of the suit towards your shoulders until the SilkStretch gusset does not pull
away from your armpit when your arms are extended at your sides.
The zipper goes in the back. Hold the base of the zipper with one hand while using the pull cord to do the zipper up.
Be sure the inner zipper panel sits flat underneath the zipper. If possible have someone help you do the zipper up.
The suit should fit snugly but not uncomfortably. If the collar feels too tight, be sure the suit is high enough in
the hips and have someone help pull the back of the suit up through the zipper towards your shoulders.
When removing the suit undo the zipper before undoing the collar. Make sure you are holding the shoulder or body of the
suit when you remove it. Do not pull on the collar. When finished the suit will be completely inside out. Rinse the suit
in fresh water and leave to dry inside out on a wide, plastic hanger. Store the suit inside out, flat or folded at the
waist or on a wide, plastic hanger.
Avoid contact with fingernails. sharp or rough objects (i.e. docks, surfboards, etc.). Minor cuts can be easily repaired
with McNett Seal Cement.
Wash your suit with McNett Wetsuit Shampoo as necessary.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat. Avoid use in chlorinated pools and soak thoroughly in fresh water afterwards.
Avoid contact with petroleum bases products (i.e. Vaseline). If you want to use a lubricant to minimize
chaffing or to speed removal use Sternoff Body Glide.
