How to Fix Your Wetsuit
NINETEEN 5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Designed as triathlon-specific performance equipment, all Nineteen
wetsuits are meticulously constructed and
are thoroughly inspected before being introduced to the market place. Beginning February 1, 2006, Nineteen warrants that
your wetsuit will be free from any manufacturer°s defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase from an authorized Nineteen retailer*.
Our industry leading warranty is only applicable to the original owner of a new wetsuit,
and is not transferable nor applicable to rental, used or demonstration suits.
* Nineteen Wetsuits purchased prior to February 1, 2006 are warranted for a period of two (2) years under the term described herein.
If you feel your Nineteen wetsuit has a warranty issue, please follow the three simple steps outlined below to get the Nineteen Warranty process started:
1) Return your wetsuit to your local Nineteen retailer and explain your concern to them.
2) Ensure that your original bill of sale or a copy of it is included with the wetsuit.
3) Your Nineteen retailer will contact us with your wetsuit details and we will provide them with an Return Authorization Number.
Please note that Nineteen is the final authority on the acceptance of a suit for warranty and issuing an RA# doesn't not confirm that the
warranty will be applicable to the wetsuit. Only once your suit is received at Nineteen will we be able to confirm the applicability of
the warranty. Warrantable suits will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
Not covered under the Nineteen warranty
1) Any costs to return a wetsuit to Nineteen or an authorized Nineteen representative*
2) Cuts to the neoprene from fingernails and or other sharp objects.
3) Damage incurred due to an accident, abuse, misuse or improper use or neglect
4) Normal wear and tear, including scratches and fading
* Nineteen will cover all return shipping costs if your wetsuit is deemed a warranty
These situations will VOID your Nineteen warranty:
1) Using your Nineteen wetsuit for any activity other than triathlon or surface swimming.
2) Repairs done by anyone other than Nineteen or a Nineteen authorized repair facility.
3) Altering the wetsuit in any way, including silk screening, embroidery, heat transfers, cutting, gluing, and sewing.
5) Damage caused by using petroleum jelly (Vaseline) or any other petroleum-based product or unapproved
lubricant, cleaner or treatment.

6) Using your Nineteen wetsuit in a rental or instructional program or other commercial use.
7) Improper handling or storage
